What Can I Expect When I Make a House Call Appointment?
Published on December 2, 2016 by Aamir Siddiqui
When people hear “house call” they often think of the past, but several companies across the country are showing that house calls are the way of the future. Each company has approached house calls in a slightly different way, but the concept is quickly gaining traction among clients who value convenience and personal attention.
RemedyNow, based in Delafield, Wisconsin, has recently entered the market, bringing house calls to the Greater Milwaukee Area and offering video visits to the entire state of Wisconsin.
We offer house calls and video visits for a wide variety of traditional medical and integrative wellness services. When you connect with us via our app, phone or email, we will be happy to answer any questions. When you decide to book an appointment we are here to help you determine if a video visit or in person visit would best suit your needs. We want to help you find the right fit and avoid surprises. On that note, unlike a traditional medical office, you will know what you will pay upfront. The pricing you see on the website or are quoted from our dispatcher will be the all-inclusive price for the services you receive. If additional services are necessary we will let you know what the price would be before proceeding.
Because the idea of a provider coming to your home or office may be unfamiliar, here’s what you can expect with a RemedyNow appointment.
Once the appointment is confirmed with our dispatcher, you will receive a notification via the app so you can see a picture of the provider they will be meeting with. Click here to view a list of our providers. The provider will arrive (or conference with you via the secure app) at the scheduled time to begin your appointment.
At your first appointment there will be friendly introductions and a bit of background information required to help understand your unique situation. Then the provider will ask you about your goals for the appointment, take a health history and at some appointment types he or she will also take your vital signs.
At the conclusion of all appointments our providers offer suggestions about how you can maintain and improve your overall health and wellness. Because we truly care about helping you feel your best we will follow up with you and answer any additional questions or concerns you may have.
While you can just make a one-time appointment, our goal is to build long-term relationships between providers and clients.
After your visit we will email a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company to see if your appointment is covered under your health insurance plan.
We welcome any questions you may have about house calls, video visits, the type of conditions we treat and wellness services we offer, and more. You can also check out our FAQs to get answers to some of the most common questions.
