  • What can RemedyNow do for me?

    We treat the whole you. Urgent care services, Primary Care providers, Integrative Wellness, and New Moms. No waiting rooms. No waiting to get an appointment. We are mobile, providing house calls and video visits. We are on-demand. We are here for YOUR convenience. Let us not only treat your medical problems but also improve your health! If you are sick and need urgent care now, we can take care of you in your own home or office. We also offer secure video visits that allows patients to connect with providers “face to face” for certain conditions and when an in-person visit is not possible, or for follow-up and medical questions. We offer primary care providers for health screenings or to manage chronic medical conditions. If you’re tired or just want to eat a little healthier, we have Integrative Wellness providers to help you navigate those symptoms. New mom? We know there are many changes happening and we’re there to help.
  • How can I request an appointment?

    You can call us (262) 312-9095 7 days a week Monday – Saturday 8a-8p, Sunday 10a-6p to schedule any service for today or on your preferred time.
  • What is included in my fee?

    Unlike insurance where you are never sure how much you will end up paying, we have complete transparency in our pricing. Any treatment provided by us including supplies, medications and tests are included in the cost. Please note prescriptions needed from the pharmacy or testing (labs, x-rays, etc) needed to be done at the laboratory are your responsibility. Your insurance should cover these costs.   • What locations do you provide services?

    We provide home or office visits for all services in the Greater Milwaukee Area. We provide Video Visits for the entire state of Wisconsin.
  • What is required for me to have at my home for an appointment of any kind?

    Each provider will bring the required items necessary to perform a visit in your home. We suggest you chose a comfortable location in your home with adequate space to receive the specific service you requested. Also if you own any pets, we request you secure them before the arrival of our provider.
  • Is there a cancellation fee?

    Yes. Appointment changes or cancellations for Urgent Care and Primary Care services must be made at least 1 hour in advance to avoid a $75 cancellation fee. Appointment changes or cancellations for Integrative Wellness and New Mom services must be made by the end of the business day prior to the day of your visit to avoid a $75 cancellation fee.   • What forms of payment do you accept?

    We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. You may also pay using your employer based VISA or MasterCard Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) debit card. Contact your HR representative for specific details on HAS and FSA benefit coverage. Please note that a credit/debit card is needed before an appointment is scheduled.
  • Is my credit card information secure?

    Yes. Your credit card information is stored by our payment processor with the highest level of security available. When a charge is made to your account from RemedyNow, you will immediately receive an email notification to your personal account.
  • Can I request a provider?

    Yes, however it may be limited by the date and time of your appointment request.
  • If I request a visit, who will be treating me?

    You will be evaluated by one of our highly trained and Board Certified Physicians or Nurse Practitioners who will provide you with a complete visit. Learn about our providers here.
  • How soon can I expect the medical provider?

    Typically, a medical provider will be at your doorstep within 2 hours once scheduled. Within few hours instead of within 2 hrs.
 

Insurance

  • Do you accept health insurance?

    We treat the whole you. Urgent care services, Primary Care providers, Integrative Wellness, and New Moms. We do accept health insurance for payment directly but we will provide you with an itemized medical receipt that you may submit to your insurance provider for any possible reimbursement. Since every insurance provider has its own policies, please confirm with your insurance about their reimbursement policies.
  • How does payment work if I have insurance?

    Our prices are all-inclusive and clearly listed. We will charge your credit card for all services provided at the conclusion of your visit. We will provide you with the itemized medical receipt for you to submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. See our Pricing.
  • Do I need insurance to use RemedyNow?

  • Do you accept Medicare and Medicaid?

Medical Care

  • Is my medical information kept private?

    Yes. Your records are 100% private records and are only shared with providers who are actively participating in your care.
  • Can your providers prescribe medication?

    Yes. All of our medical practitioners can prescribe prescription drugs to a pharmacy of your choice. If you carry insurance, these medications will be covered according to you plan.
  • Do you prescribe narcotics?

    Our medical providers are not able to prescribe narcotics.
  • Do you provide IV therapy?

    No, at present we are not able to provide IV therapy.
  • Do you draw labs?

    Yes. We can draw labs directly in your home or if you would prefer, we can send you to a local facility. If you carry insurance plan, the labs will be covered per your policy.
  • What vaccinations do you provide?

    At present, we only provide the tetanus vaccination, which may be needed if you get injured. Please note that the cost of the vaccination is included in your visit.
  • How soon can I expect the medical provider?

    Typically, a medical provider will be at your doorstep within 2 hours once scheduled.
  • How do you select your providers?

    Our providers have extensive clinical experience and have great community standing. Each provider undergoes a rigorous screening process and background check. They are all licensed in the State of Wisconsin and appointed with the approval of the credentialing committee.
  • If I request a visit, who will be treating me?

    You will be evaluated by one of our highly trained and Board Certified Physicians or Nurse Practitioners who will provide you with a complete visit. Learn about our providers here.
  • Who can request a house visit?

    Anyone over the age of 18 can request a house visit. We treat ages 6 months +.
  • What can I expect when a provider comes into my home?

    After introductions, the provider will ask you to find a comfortable space continue the appointment. Then they will ask you questions regarding your health history as well as obtain your vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, weight, and height). Depending upon the reason for the visit an exam may be performed in a location that is private and comfortable for you. After the exam the provider will review the findings, perform tests, or order further testing, order medications, or treatments as needed, and provide information and discharge instructions.
  • How will I find out the results of the tests performed?

    Some of the testing may be performed at your location and the results will be available immediately. These tests may include urinalysis, rapid strep test, hemoglobin A1c, and rapid mono. Other lab tests will be sent to the laboratory and you will be notified of the results within 24-48 hours.
  • What if you are unable to treat the problem at the visit?

    Our triage process allows us to complete most visits. However, it is possible that after our evaluation we may refer you to an urgent care center or emergency room for further evaluation and treatment.
  • What if you need to return for a follow up visit?

    There are several ways to handle this. Sometimes a phone call is all that is needed to provide test results or ask follow up questions. A home visit will be needed to remove stitches, check a wound, or perform a follow up exam. Other times a video chat will provide the ability for the provider to adequately assess the treatment and provide the necessary follow up.
  • What conditions do you treat?

    We treat almost all general conditions that can be treated at any traditional doctor’s office or urgent care. Urgent Care is for the treatment of everyday illnesses and injuries that require immediate medical attention but are not life threatening or critical conditions. Common Urgent Care conditions we treat: Cough, cold, sore throat, allergies, asthma, ear infections, sinus infection, pink eye, diarrhea, upset stomach, nausea, urinary tract infections, joint pain, arthritis, rashes, skin infections and irritations, eczema, ringworm, sprains, abrasions, minor lacerations. Primary Care is for any basic health assessment including physicals for school, work or home. Primary Care providers also provide comprehensive health assessments or chronic disease management for those looking to have tailor made plan with an emphasis on nutrition, lifestyle and mental well-being or to help you manage ongoing health conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, obesity, high cholesterol.
  • What conditions DON’T you treat?

    We do not treat life-threatening emergencies or critical conditions. Please call 9-1-1.
 

Video Visits

  • What services provide video visits?

    Selective Urgent Care, Primary Care, Integrative Medicine and New mom services may be provided through video visits.
  • Who can use video visits?

    Anyone 18 years or older who is presently located in the state of Wisconsin may utilize video visits. You may call on behalf of your child or dependent who is under the age of 18.
  • What is an appropriate video visit?

    Common conditions by that may be treated through telemedicine include allergies, pink eye, upper respiratory infections, smoking cessation or rashes. Other discussions by video chat can be for specific medication questions, follow-up appointments, lab results review, chronic management plans, nutrition, integrative health assessments, lactation counseling, child birth related questions.
  • What happens if you can’t resolve my medical issue with a video visit chat?

    We are trained to screen medical issues that may not be appropriate for a video visit and will inform you appropriately. However, if during the video visit, it is determined that you may need direct in person evaluation, we will deduct the cost of video visit for your in-person evaluation cost.
  • Are video visits secure and HIPPA compliant?

    Yes. Our secure video conferencing line is completely secure for your privacy.
  • Is there a time limit for video visits?

    No. We treat the person and the condition. We allot enough time for each person to be effectively treated over video.
